Folk Mutants

Ok, here we go! I thought it would be nice to start with some acoustic music for the Christmas holidays. These are two of the most innovative and talented bands from the british folk revival scene of late sixties/early seventies.

Pentangle - Travelling Song / Let No Man Steal Your Thyme (1968)
Incredible String Band - Everything's Fine Right Now (1970)

All videos will be on .mpg or .avi format...you know they are huge files...
I uploaded them on Rapidshare, I've been suggested to upload compressed files with password protection.
The password to unzip the files is: musicforyoureyes
Any comments will be apprecieted!

Merry Christmas

Hi!
Thanks for your kind remarks on the Byrds video on my blog... glad you enjoyed it!

This blog is very promising indeed! Was thrilled to see this Pentangle video since I'd never seen any footage of them from this era, so a huge thanks for this!
Best Wishes,
BAZ

Nice to see you here BAZ, I've been surprised too when I found that video on a peer-to-peer network. The late sixties have been definetly a magic period for music, including the British folk revival...

See you soon :)
